Folk and blues songs performed by Tom Doughty

One of the first artists ever to appear at the Two Rivers Festival, the chart-topping Australian guitarist Craig Ogden returns with an evening that shows the broad range of his talents and tastes. Craig plays Spanish and South American masterpieces, music by living composers and some of the well-known melodies from his best-selling Classic FM disc, The Guitarist. His guest is Northwich-based folk singer and blues slide guitarist, Tom Doughty whose skill and invention create unusual and hauntingly beautiful sounds. The pair represents two very different guitar traditions, but in this programme they come together to perform special arrangements by composer and guitarist, Callum Dewar.
